1962 Bentley S2 Sedan

1962 Bentley SII, Left Hand Drive. Two tone green with gray interior. The car, so striking and balanced in its appearance, was always in California and thus has a straight, clean, virtually rust free chassis, arguably the most important criterion for selecting a Bentley or Rolls of this period.  Painted in the original smoke and sage green paint, this car is running well and was driven  confidently at 75mph  yesterday. Very recent $2000 service performed on the car. Original air conditioning installed.The leather interior is original but showing some extensive cracks. Wood is in sound condition with no water damage and has probably never been refinished. Original trunk mat in excellent condition. Original carpets in good condition in the rear but needing mats in the front. Very usable original headliner.In my estimation, the car could be used in exactly its present configuration with perhaps a discreet, period rug covering the seat bottoms, but new seat covers will be on the horizon. The car is so solid, it will merit that investment.
