The SS 90 was introduced in 1935 by William Lyons of the Swallow SIdecar compnay. The Swallow Sidecar Comapny would eventually become Jaguar in 1945. The SS 90 was only made for one year with only 23 cars ever leaving the factory. The SS 90 featured aside valved inline six with an aluminum head, allowing the engine to produce 68 HP. SS cars were known to look beatiful but to have less than stellar performance.
