                                        <div><strong>Rare 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Convertible 5-Speed with 42k Miles</strong><div><br /><strong>This 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet with a 5-speed manual is a highly attractive driver with 42k miles from new. White with a blue leather interior. Powered by a naturally aspirated DOHC 16-valve inline-4 mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Offered with a clean Carfax report, owners manuals, and its original window sticker. It runs and drives well but 4th gear requires some attention. The soft top fabric also needs replacement, and the electric top is not currently operational. A very original and honest car with low mileage.&nbsp;</strong><div><div><br /><strong>The 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet is one of the more interesting and rare modern-classic Porsches because it combines the excellent 944 chassis with the relatively rare S2 drivetrain and an open-top body. The S2 was essentially Porsche's naturally aspirated high-performance 944. Its 3.0-liter four-cylinder was a substantial step up from the smaller engines used in earlier 944s. Importantly, it remained naturally aspirated rather than using the turbocharger found in the 944 Turbo. That gives it a particularly nice character: strong low and mid-range torque, linear throttle response and relatively uncomplicated power delivery.         <div><strong>Rare 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Convertible 5-Speed with 42k Miles</strong><div><br /><strong>This 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet with a 5-speed manual is a highly attractive driver with 42k miles from new. White with a blue leather interior. Powered by a naturally aspirated DOHC 16-valve inline-4 mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Offered with a clean Carfax report, owners manuals, and its original window sticker. It runs and drives well but 4th gear requires some attention. The soft top fabric also needs replacement, and the electric top is not currently operational. A very original and honest car with low mileage.&nbsp;</strong><div><div><br /><strong>The 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet is one of the more interesting and rare modern-classic Porsches because it combines the excellent 944 chassis with the relatively rare S2 drivetrain and an open-top body. The S2 was essentially Porsche's naturally aspirated high-performance 944. Its 3.0-liter four-cylinder was a substantial step up from the smaller engines used in earlier 944s. Importantly, it remained naturally aspirated rather than using the turbocharger found in the 944 Turbo. That gives it a particularly nice character: strong low and mid-range torque, linear throttle response and relatively uncomplicated power delivery.
