The SS II was a car made by William Lyons of the Swallow Sidecar company, making it a direct descendant of Jaguar cars. It came with a side-valved four cylinder engine pegging it under its brother, the SS I, in power. What it lacked in power it made up in fuel economy, which is exactly what Willaim wanted; a entry level "Jaguar." The SS II was only made for two years (1933-1935) with and with three body types: coupe, sallon, and convertible.
