This 1930 BNC comes with an astonishing race history. George Caswell bought this extremely charming French race-car at a motorcycle dealership in the early 1940's. He went on to install a Ford V8-60 engine which he ran at Watkins Glen in 1948. At one point it was also reportedly in the hands of Eric "Sonny" Grainger who was the track announcer at the Islip, Long Island race track and in 1955 was one of the founders of the Bridgehampton circuit. It's unclear how the car made it's way to America but it had been sitting well preserved for 40 years before it was dusted off by it's previous owner. As you would expect from such a car, this example comes with a massive amount of historical documents, service records, photos, handwritten logbooks, and artwork. Here's your once in a lifetime chance to own such a charming piece of automotive racing history
