This 1953 Bentley R-Type Lightweight Saloon by H.J Mulliner is a rare find and excellent original car that's been patiently awaiting straightforward restoration. Blue over tan with burgundy interior. RHD. It's been off the road for several years and is not currently running. A solid and straight car overall. These all-aluminium lightweight sports saloons were built by H.J. Mulliner to be a faster, more exclusive, driver focused Bentley. At a two thousand pounds premium over the standard steel, just 41 of these aluminium 'Lightweights' were built. With its elegant H.J Mulliner coachwork, this sporty lightweight R-Type Saloon would be a worthy addition to any collection.
