This lovely 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing is a highly original matching numbers example just out of 37 years of loving ownership. Currently white, this Gullwing was originally born in extremely attractive and desirable color code DB190 Graphite Gray and retains its original red leather interior proudly showing plenty of patina. The previous owner bought the car from Mr. Alex Dearborn who is one of the most respected, knowledgeable, and highly-regarded 300SL restorers and enthusiasts in the industry. The bill of sale from 1983 accompanies the car as well as several other records. The car was always cherished and carefully maintained throughout its life and it shows.
