1956 Jensen 541 Coupe: One of 226 built. A very rare, large displacement British GT
This 1956 Jensen 541 Coupe is an extremely rare find especially here in the US. Blue with black interior, it's equipped with it's six cylinder inline Austin 4 liter motor. It was purchased in the United Kingdom by the previous owner in 1990 and imported to California. He drove the car daily until it developed an engine knock. He took the car apart intending to repair the motor and get it back on the road, but children, racing and other activities left the car under a tarp beside his home in Alameda, California for the past twenty or twenty five years. The head is still off the motor, and the car needs a complete restoration. It comes accompanied by both of the shop manuals, many old photos of the car previous to storage, and a lot of shipping, customs, V5, and correspondence documentation.
