1968 Jaguar XKE Series 1 1/2 Roadster: Triple Carbureted with Matching Numbers
This matching numbers 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 1/2 Roadster is an extremely desirable early example with triple carburetors. An original Moss green car from the factory wearing an older repaint and an incredibly strong driver that's fully sorted mechanically. It runs and drives fantastic and had a complete engine and transmission rebuild in the last 3k miles. The 3 SU carburetors were also completely rebuilt. The original Strombergs are included. Upgraded aluminum radiator and fan and the front brakes were upgraded to Wellwood. The seats were rebuilt with appropriate black leather and newer tires were installed with just 1,500 miles since new. New stainless steel exhaust. The correct valve head covers, heat crossover piece, and original air cleaner assembly with manifold are also included. Offered with its Jaguar Heritage Certificate. The car presents itself very well overall but could benefit from minor cosmetics to bring it to the next level.
